Monday Confession...

My Monday confession...I have NEVER been good at drinking water. While I was pregnant I had to force myself to carry around a water bottle because I knew how important it was. But then after Charley came, I dropped it like it was hot. In fact, I went the opposite direction and stocked my fridge with Coke Zero (those late nights were a killer!) When I went back to work, I even added a detour on my way to work so I could stop at the gas station and grab a 30 oz Coke Zero to start my day. I told myself it was okay because I needed something to help me stay awake. And by switching to Coke Zero, I wasn't drinking all of the sugar from a regular Coke, so it was better, right?

In the back of my head I could hear my mom say "water is so much better for you, Stacey." Not that she ever told me that as an adult, but her example always spoke louder than words. So, I'm taking a que from my mom and drinking as much water as I can. I want the best results I can get from my workouts, and staying hydrated will help me LOSE WEIGHT and have a better workout.

I even "prettied" up my bottle so I will WANT to carry it around LOL! It's an infuser bottle, so I can add fruit and herbs to add flavor. So far, lemon has been my favorite.

What is your favorite thing to add to your water to shake it up?

Reasons Why I Can!

I have been struggling for the past year trying to lose my pregnancy weight. I was so upset with myself this summer when I had to go out and buy new pants and shorts because I still couldn't fit into my old clothes. I had started running months ago but wasn't seeing the results I was looking for. And it was really hard for me to fit in my workout because Charley was not cooperating. She didn't take long naps for me to squeeze in a run, I was too exhausted to get up early or stay up late to run while she was sleeping and it was too hot outside to run on my lunch break. So I did what I've done too many times in the past and that was give up. It was just too hard.

Then I read my friend's post about the success she was having with 21 Day Fix and I started asking her questions about it. She got me in touch with her Coach and I started researching the program. I loved the fact that there were 7 different workouts that were each 30 minutes. And I could do them in my family room with Charley playing right next to me if I had to. Plus, I loved the idea of portion control instead of a "diet". But my biggest problem was my energy level. No matter how much I loved a program, I didn't have the energy to get my butt off the couch and workout. My Coach told me about Shakeology and ALL of the benefits that come with it. When she told me that a high percentage of people using Shakeology report a boost in energy, I decided to give it a try.

I am on my second round of 21 Day Fix and I LOVE the program! I joined a Challenge group right from the beginning and that has made ALL the difference between this program and others I have done in the past. I NEEDED to be accountable to someone to keep me on my path. And the motivation and support I've received from others doing the same thing I'm doing every day has been AMAZING! I immediately saw results after my first week and they haven't stopped!

I never would have looked into this program if my friend hadn't shared her success with me and I want to PAY IT FORWARD. I know there are so many of my friends who are in the same boat I was in and I would love to help them start their own successful journey with Beachbody. I am also starting to see how being a Beachbody Coach can give my family financial freedom and make it easier for us to pay for Charley's ongoing health costs. #21dayfix #beachbody #healthcoach #sassymamafitness
