My Monday confession...I have NEVER been good at drinking water. While I was pregnant I had to force myself to carry around a water bottle because I knew how important it was. But then after Charley came, I dropped it like it was hot. In fact, I went the opposite direction and stocked my fridge with Coke Zero (those late nights were a killer!) When I went back to work, I even added a detour on my way to work so I could stop at the gas station and grab a 30 oz Coke Zero to start my day. I told myself it was okay because I needed something to help me stay awake. And by switching to Coke Zero, I wasn't drinking all of the sugar from a regular Coke, so it was better, right?
In the back of my head I could hear my mom say "water is so much better for you, Stacey." Not that she ever told me that as an adult, but her example always spoke louder than words. So, I'm taking a que from my mom and drinking as much water as I can. I want the best results I can get from my workouts, and staying hydrated will help me LOSE WEIGHT and have a better workout.
I even "prettied" up my bottle so I will WANT to carry it around LOL! It's an infuser bottle, so I can add fruit and herbs to add flavor. So far, lemon has been my favorite.
What is your favorite thing to add to your water to shake it up?
